You say you love me...

This is a comic page I did. I don't have a comic or anything, but this was the best way I knew of to express this awesome scene from a story called A Ship in a Bottle. The fic can be found here:[link]

Jack is trying to get through to Lizzie that what she may be feeling is more a love for what he represents and that she may want to be with him just because he's good in bed. He's trying to make her see also, that he's not just a good man, he can be a ruthless man as well. He's a pirate. That's who he is and he will hurt her if she stays with him, whether internationally or not. In some ways, he's trying to scare her off, to be able to save himself from the torment and because he still thinks she'll think of Will when ever they are together. Might as well let her have her blacksmith then. But she takes the hot wax being dripped on her back to hear what he says and to understand him more. Basically, he's trying to get through to her that she needs to take all of him into her heart, not just the good man, the ideal. ALL OF HIM. That includes all of his faults and that darker side of him, the side that MAKES him a pirate. If she's to love him, that's what needs to be done. Otherwise, she may as well leave and go back to Will.

I though that was one of the most powerful scenes in that story. And there were many. It's a really well written story and worth the read. BUT, I suggest finding The Evil Lady E on fanfiction.net or adultfanfiction.net. It's the story that this one continues from. I didn't do that, so I'm having a Star Wars like deja-vu here. I know how it all will end.

Hmmm...I like the layout. It took me forever to get the right picture for Lizzie on the bed. I'm telling you, that is one position that is a BITCH to draw. Oo;;; So my anatomy may be a bit off. Same goes for Jack sitting beside her. Ugh. But even if they’re a bit off, I still like how they came out. ^^ My shading could have been a bit darker in the first panel, but oh well. The speech bubbles I added after I got it scanned. My hand writing sucks and I suck at making speech bubbles look neat and even.

If you read the story and get to the chapter that this is from, you'll noticed that I cut out a lot of what Lizzie says(I had no room and what Jack is saying is a bit more important to me). And I had to paraphrase a line in one of the bubbles. Or else it would not have fit. Yeah....um, anywho, I hope you guys enjoy!!
